Synthetic peptides are sensitive to temperature and to mechanical stress. The data on a Certificate of Analysis describes the compound at the moment of testing; what reaches your lab depends on the integrity of the cold chain between us. This article is the protocol Aurevra Bio uses, and the protocol we recommend on the receiving side.
On our side
Every order ships in insulated packaging with frozen gel packs. For transit windows exceeding 48 hours or for shipments during high-temperature months, dry-ice is used in place of gel packs. The outer carton carries no Aurevra Bio branding to maintain shipment discretion. The inner liner carries the Research Use Only statement as required.
On receipt
Inspect the package on receipt. The gel packs should still be cool to the touch. Inspect the vial label for damage or condensation. Transfer the vial to −20 °C storage promptly. Lyophilized powder is stable at −20 °C for the full expiration window listed on the COA.
Reconstitution and working stock
Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol). Working stock at 2–8 °C is typically stable for up to 28 days. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw of reconstituted material.
Reporting damage
If your shipment arrives warm, with damaged packaging, or with a compromised vial, contact support@aurevrabio.com within 48 hours with photographic documentation. We will replace or refund per the Refund & Return Policy.
